I am a public speaker and I speak to professional and educational organizations on the concepts of overcoming adversity, ethical leadership, and teamwork. I also speak about how the experiences, during my ten seasons in the NFL, have shaped me into the man I am today.
I had an outstanding time doing this event. I have spoken for years for different events or causes, but it was new for me opening up on a personal level like this in a public forum, but what better place than Bloomington Indiana. I hope you enjoy watching this Tedx Talk as much as I enjoyed doing it.
Fun on the Edge of Sports!
Here is what some have had to say about me...
Nolan Harrison is the perfect blend of gravitas and humor. He makes an audience both comfortable and interested in what he has to say. Matching his statuesque frame, he has a towering intellect, and knows how to blend both theory and real life experience into his presentations. I would not hesitate to use his services again and again!

A teacher and entertainer through and through, Nolan Harrison delighted our group of Executives and CEOs with his NFL and teamwork anecdotes, and made some of the most relevant and articulate connections between sports and business I have ever heard. Nolan's involvement in our event energized the group and made for some very lively conversation. Our audience was eager to participate and ask questions, and laughs were sprinkled throughout the program. Thank you Nolan! The Executives Breakfast Club welcomes you back any time!

And special thanks to our guest speaker, Nolan Harrison III! Nolan's experience and perspective on the importance of team character was absolutely invaluable to our ongoing conversation about the relationship between character and success in business. As someone with the all-too-unique experience of playing professional sports and continuing on to have a successful career in business, Nolan was an insightful and engaging guest we would welcome back again.
Nolan was the Keynote speaker at a recent Executive Breakfast Club meeting in Oak Brook. His insights regarding leadership, motivating teams and how the many lessons he learned as a professional athlete contribute to his post-NFL career success.
His ability to share excellent examples of where he personally experienced exceptional leadership displayed with easy to understand translations to a corporate environment. Nolan’s keen sense of the subject and a balance of humor in his discussion resulted in an excellent presentation.
Further, his ability to balance a full time career, active family commitments and a tremendous commitment to supporting his former NFL colleagues as they transition out of professional sports is very impressive.
I would highly recommend Nolan as a motivational speaker for any organization seeking to enhance their leadership philosophy. I look forward to inviting Nolan to address my next leadership team.

Nolan,
District 204 is grateful that you offered your talents and expertise to our Reality Store program at Waubonsie Valley High School. It’s never an easy task to maintain the focus of 750 freshmen and 750 sophomores for both sessions, but you captivated their attention with poise and ease.
Your comments were insightful and very applicable for such a young audience. I am increasingly confident your message will impact our students well beyond their high school years and isn’t that what reality is all about.
Thank you again. We are very fortunate to have someone of your caliber and expertise who is willing and able to share such a powerful message. I extend best wishes to you for a wonderful day and a great 2010!
